Day 1 – Welcome to Chiang Mai

  • Leave from golf course to visit Bai Orchid and Butterfly Farm

  • Non golfers, Thai cooking course (additional cost), pick-up 9am for market tour and transfer to Grandma’s Home Cooking School.
  • All meet at cooking school for lunch
  • Mae Ping River Cruise
  • Shower at hotel and prepare for dinner

Day 5 – Doi Inthanon National Park

Sensible walking shoes needed for trekking, consider bringing insect repellent, hats, etc.

  • Hotel Buffet Breakfast
  • Pickup from Hotel at 8am
  • Drive south to Doi Inthanon National Park.
  • Trekking with local Karen guide, 2 hours easy walk (mostly downhill) through forest and past waterfalls and Karen farmland (rice, strawberries, coffee).
  • Finish trek at the Karen village where you can sample locally grown and freshly roasted arabica coffee.
  • Lunch at the royal project – agricultural training and research center for local hill-tribe people.
  • After lunch, go to the mountain summit – highest point in Thailand.
  • Visit the Cloud Forest boardwalk near the summit.
  •  Visit royal pagodas and gardens
  • On the way back down the mountain, visit Wachirathan waterfall.
  • Light dinner at local favorite noodle/rice restaurant close to hotel. (expect to be tired at the end of this day)

Day 6 – Alpine Golf Course & Hang Dong District

Day 7 – Light Sightseeing Program & Transfer Out

Easy/flexible morning, itinerary dependant on flight times.

  • Visit San Kamphaeng handicraft centers – Umbrella making & painting, wood carving, and others depending on interest & time (silk, lacquer-ware, sapphires, etc.)
  • Lunch at Golden Pig (Chinese BBQ)
  • Afternoon transfer to Chiang Mai Airport

Tour Package Inclusions

Transport is provided by a Toyota commercial passenger Van (10 seats + driver). The tour will be led by a licensed English-speaking tour guide. We provide bottled drinking water on the bus (2 bottles/pax/day).
